O presente artigo objetiva analisar o fenômeno informação como elemento constitutivo da memória social, tendo como base a perspectiva antropológica da Teoria Ator-Rede (Actor Network Theory). Trata-se, ainda, de refletir acerca dos componentes que formam a rede de atores e “actantes” como elementos constitutivos da memória social, considerando os pressupostos teóricos da ciência da informação. As reflexões iniciais sobre as interações no interior dos coletivos humanos e não-humanos permitiram a Latour considerar que estas trazem consigo vinculações capazes de causar mudanças, sobre as quais os distintos elementos nelas presentes se articulam, se afetam e são afetados. Assim, sistemas, objetos, organizações, relações constituídas na vida social confundem-se nesse panorama de interação, sem que um defina o outro, embora podendo atuar um sobre o outro, produzindo, dessa forma, informações que, imbricadas de significados, podem, no devir, serem analisadas como memória. Buscamos discutir como a ANT possibilita um olhar transversal à inter-relação informação/memória social, considerando o contexto teórico amplo, complexo e multifacetado em que se apresentam. Visamos, por fim, possibilitar o desenvolvimento das investigações sobre a dinâmica que envolve informação e memória, desafiando as discussões atuais e buscando outros sentidos e significados.
This article aims to analyze the information phenomenon as a constituent element of social memory, based on the anthropological perspective of the Actor Network Theory. It is also a question of reflecting on the components that form the network of actors and "actantes" as constitutive elements of social memory, considering the theoretical assumptions of information science. The initial reflections on the interactions within the human and non-human collectives allowed Latour to consider that they bring with them links capable of causing change, on which the different elements present in them are articulated, affected and affected. Thus, systems, objects, organizations, relations constituted in social life are confused in this panorama of interaction, without one defining the other, although it can act on one another, producing in this way information that, imbricated with meanings, in the future, be analyzed as memory. We seek to discuss how the ANT allows a transversal view of the information / social memory interrelationship, considering the broad, complex and multifaceted theoretical context in which they present themselves. We aim to enable the development of investigations into the dynamics that involve information and memory, defying current discussions and seeking other meanings and meanings.
