Este artigo teve como objetivo demonstrar a importância da gestão do conhecimento nas
organizações e como ela pode se transformar numa vantagem competitiva.
Primeiramente demonstrou-se o que são ativos tangíveis e intangíveis. Em seguida
buscou-se esclarecer o conceito de gestão do conhecimento e as vantagens que ela
agrega a organização, e o que é e porque o balanced scorecard é uma metodologia
indicada para mensurar ativos intangíveis. Finalizando com um estudo da relação da
Gestão do Conhecimento e o Balanced Scorecard.

Resumo Inglês:

This article aims to demonstrate the importance of knowledge management in
organizations and how it can become a competitive advantage. First it’s demonstrated
what are tangible and intangible assets. Then the concept of knowledge management and
the benefits it brings to the organization are elightened, as well as what and why is
balanced scorecard a method suitable for measuring intangible assets. Finishing with a
study of the relationship between Knowledge Management and Balanced Scorecard.
