Resumo: Este artigo tem por intuito realizar uma reflexão articulada das várias dimensões e/ou facetas que compõem o complexo mundo institucional, especificamente o da Escola de formação de professoras ruralistas no estado do Ceará, nas décadas de 1930 a 1940. Para além do espaço restrito à instituição escolar, realiza-se análises sobre a intrínseca relação entre ideal de formação feminina, família e sociedade no período do Estado Novo. O cerne da questão aqui analisada é a busca do entendimento sobre o ideal de professora e de educação feminina subjacentes à proposta de formação docente proposta pelas escolas normais rurais, no âmbito do estado do Ceará, em um momento de intensos debates sobre educação, nacionalismo e desenvolvimento econômico. Neste contexto de efervescência nacionalista, intenta-se compreender em que consistiam as suas visões de educação, papel da mulher na sociedade e perfil de educadora, presentes nas intrincadas relações entre Estado, família e formação docente.

FAMILY, SCHOOL AND HOMELAND: IDEAL TEACHER FOR RURAL BRAZIL IN THE NEW STATE TIME.
Abstract: This article intends to carry out an articulated reflection of the various dimensions and / or facets that make up the complex institutional world, specifically the School of training of rural teachers in the state of Ceará, in the 1930s to 1940s. the analysis of the intrinsic relationship between the ideal of feminine formation, family and society in the Estado Novo period. At the heart of the issue analyzed here is the search for an understanding of the ideal of teacher and female education underlying the proposal of teacher training proposed by rural normal schools within the state of Ceará at a time of intense debates about education, nationalism and economic development. In this context of nationalist effervescence, we try to understand what consisted of their visions of education, the role of women in society and the profile of educator, present in the intricate relations between State, family and teacher training.
