Esse estudo teve por objetivo principal mostrar a importância das fábulas no processo de alfabetização e letramento da
criança. Nesse sentido, buscou-se conceituar fábula na visão de elencados autores, discorrendo sobre o aparecimento das
fábulas segundo a concepção de Esopo, Fedro, La Fontaine e finalmente no Brasil Monteiro Lobato. Posteriormente,
descreveu-se a importância do trabalho com as fábulas no processo ensino aprendizagem, no que diz respeito à produção
do texto e leitura e o seu desenvolvimento nos livros didáticos.
This study had the main objective to show the importance of fables in children’s literacy and literacy process. In this
sense, he sought to conceptualize fable in view of listed authors, discussing the emergence of fables according to the
conception of Aesop, Phaedrus, La Fontaine and finally in Brazil Monteiro Lobato. Later, he described the importance
of working with the fables in the learning process, regarding the production of text and reading and its development in
textbooks.
