O objetivo do presente artigo é analisar de que forma a instrumentalidade se expressa no trabalho do Serviço Social. Para isso, discutir-se-á a cerca das categorias: Instrumentalidade, Serviço Social e Trabalho, compreendendo o que é a instrumentalidade no exercício profissional e de quais resultados ela é produtora. Tendo em vista que,é através da instrumentalidade que se desenvolve a capacidade de organizar e articular as três dimensões da profissão para alcançar seus objetivos.
Resumo Espanhol:
The aim of this article is to analyze how instrumentality is expressed in the work of Social Work. For this, we will discuss about the categories: Instrumentality, Social Service and Work, understanding what is the instrumentality in the professional exercise and of what results it is producing. Given that, it is through instrumentality that the ability to organize and articulate the three dimensions of the profession to achieve its objectives is developed.
