ESPAÇO VIVIDO E IDENTIDADE REGIONAL: UM OLHAR SOBRE O LESTE E O OESTE DO RECÔNCAVO BAIANO

Apoiado nas entrevistas com os sambadores, verificamos a influência do espaço vivido no desenvolvimento de uma afeição regional e no fortalecimento das imagens regionais. Dessa maneira, o Recôncavo emerge como representação, que, por sua vez, é definida e mediada pelas manifestações culturais. Mas nem todo o Recôncavo se apresenta assim. Dividimos o Recôncavo em leste e oeste; no leste, o samba se mostra mais fortalecido; já no oeste, muito enfraquecido. Assim, buscamos investigar a influência do espaço vivido no sentimento topofílico regional, pois é a abrangência e a manutenção desse vivido que dá cara e cor ao Recôncavo por parte dos sambadores do leste. Em contraste, no oeste, a escala reduzida do espaço vivido tem por consequência a não identificação do Recôncavo com suas imagens regionais tão aclamadas no leste (a negritude afro-brasileira e suas manifestações).

Based on the sambadores interviews, we verified the influence of the lived space in the development of a regional affection and the fortification of the regional image. In that sense, the Recôncavo region rises as representation, which is defined and mediated by cultural events. This presentation isn't the same for all Recôncavo, though. We divided the region into east and west; at the east, samba shows itself powerfully; at the west, atrophied. With that, we decided to investigate the influence of the lived space in the feeling of regional affection, because is the coverage and the maintaining of that way of living that gives face and color to the Recôncavo region, thanks to the east sambadores. In contrast to that, in the west, the reduced scale of the lived space has as consequence the lack of identification of the Recôncavo with its regional images so celebrated in the east (the afro-brazilian blackness and its events).

Basándose en entrevistas con los artistas sambadores, verificamos la influencia del espacio vivido en el desarrollo de una ligación afectiva regional y en el fortalecimiento de las imágenes regionales. Así, el Recôncavo surge como representación, que, a su vez, es definida y mediada por las manifestaciones culturales. Pero no todo el Recôncavo se presenta así. Dividimos el Recôncavo en el este y el oeste; en el este, el samba se muestra con más energía; ya en el oeste, su manifestación es débil. Por lo tanto, buscamos investigar la influencia del espacio vivido en el sentimiento topofílico regional, ya que es el alcance y el mantenimiento de esa experiencia vivida que le da cara y color al Recôncavo por parte de los sambadores del este. Por el contrario, en el oeste, la escala reducida del espacio vivido conduce a la falta de identificación con el Recôncavo, con sus imágenes regionales tan aclamados en el este (la negritud afro-brasileña y sus manifestaciones).
