Educação e cultura: diálogos entre um homem do campo e um cientista social

Por meio do olhar de um antropólogo que dialoga com um
homem rural e aceitando o fato de que é fugidio o limite entre o
dizer e o não dizer, este artigo acolhe o risco de ser antes uma
sugestão para se refletir acerca do que é a educação do que
uma demonstração científica de um ponto de vista. Partindo de
unidades discursivas de algumas obras de Antropologia Social,
de Educação Popular e de uma entrevista realizada durante
uma pesquisa no interior mineiro, é apresentada a leitura de
fragmentos correlacionados de linguagem-e-situação, em que
se reflete o sentido do educar e do aprender para um cientista
social e para um homem do campo brasileiro.

Through the sight of an anthropologist that maintains a dialogue
with a man from the country, and accepting the fact that the limit
between the saying and the not-saying is fleeting, this article
takes on the risk of being rather a suggestion for reflecting
about what education is than a scientific demonstration of a
point of view. Taking as a starting point some discursive units
from works in the area of Social Anthropology and Popular
Education, as well as an interview carried out during a research
in the mineiro countryside, it’s presented a reading of correlated
fragments of language-and-situation, in which the meaning of
educating and learning is reflected, both to the social scientist
and to the Brazilian countr.
