Resumo Português:

A
utilização
do
teatro
como
prática
pedagógica
ajuda
a
criança
na
sua
aprendizagem
e
no
desenvolvimento
psicomotor
e
cognitivo.
Assim,
tendo
como
foco
a
Psicomotricidade,
este
artigo
tem
como
objetivos,
abordar
o
teatro
como
oportunidade
na
educação,
pois
a
dimensão
psicomotora
é
parte
integrante
da
formação
da
criança.
Pretende-‐se
também
evidenciar
que
a
escola
pode
ser
palco
(espaço)
para
o
conhecimento,
a
aprendizagem
e
o
desenvolvimento
do
teatro,
assumindo
seu
verdadeiro
papel,
que
é
o
de
contribuir
para
o
desenvolvimento
emocional,
intelectual,
moral,
estético
e
sócio-‐cultural
da
criança.
A
pesquisa
bibliográfica
apontou
que
o
teatro
contribui
de
forma
significativa
para
que
o
aluno
compreenda
a
importância
dessa
atividade
e
amplie
sua
capacidade
de
estudo
e
reflexão
sobre
o
verdadeiro
sentido
do
teatro,
pois
colabora
para
a
manifestação
da
expressão
corporal
e
do
desenvolvimento
ajudando
o
educando
a
valorizar
o
conhecimento
da
cultura,
da
estética
e
do
próprio
ato
educativo.
Nesta
perspectiva,
uma
área
que
pode
ajudar
a
criança
a
desenvolver
suas
potencialidades
é
a
Psicomotricidade,
que
está
associada
à
afetividade
e
à
personalidade,
pois
o
individuo
se
utiliza
de
seu
corpo
para
demonstrar
o
que
sente.

theater
as
a
pedagogical
practice
helps
children
in
their
learning,
and
psychomotor/cognitive
development.
Focusing
on
the
Psychomotricity,
this
paper
aims
to
approach
the
theater
as
an
opportunity
in
education
once
the
psychomotor
dimension
is
part
of
children’s
education.
It
is
also
intended
to
show
that
the
school
may
be
the
stage
(space)
for
knowledge,
learning
and
development
of
the
theater,
assuming
its
true
role,
which
is
to
contribute
to
the
emotional,
intellectual,
moral,
aesthetic
and
socio-‐cultural
child
development.
The
literature
review
has
showed
that
the
theater
contributes
significantly
to
student’s
understanding
of
the
importance
of
this
activity
and
hence
s/he
will
be
able
to
broaden
his/her
ability
to
study
and
reflect
on
the
true
meaning
of
the
theater,
as
it
helps
for
the
manifestation
of
bodily
expression
and
development,
allowing
students
to
enhance
culture
knowledge,
aesthetics,
education,
and
theirown
educative
act.
In
this
perspective,
Psychomotricity
is
an
area
that
can
help
children
develop
their
potential.
It
is
associated
to
warmth
and
personality,
because
the
individual
uses
his
body
to
show
what
he
feels.
