Este artigo objetiva a reflexão sobre as heterogeneidades do contexto sócio-político brasileiro e as tentativas de buscar a justiça social com medidas de redistribuição de riqueza, práticas adotadas na última década pelos governos federais. Para explanar este processo, propõe um resgate da história recente desse país desde as instituições e práticas herdadas da ditadura militar, que inauguraram o atual processo de desenvolvimento e já buscavam, mediante medidas econômicas, a aprovação de seus atos políticos. Ao explanar o processo de redistribuição de riqueza mediante ações da esfera estatal, buscamos contribuir com as reflexões sobre as possibilidades e limites dessas ações, uma vez que a injustiça social é um tema relevante para as Ciências Sociais e para toda a sociedade, e necessita de aportes teóricos que buscam sua superação.

This article aims to reflect on the heterogeneity of the Brazilian socio-political context and attempts to seek social justice with measures of wealth redistribution, practices adopted in the last decade by the federal government. To explain this process, proposes a rescue of recent U.S. history since the institutions and practices inherited from the military dictatorship, which opened the current development process and has sought, through economic measures, the approval of their political acts. By explaining the process of redistribution of wealth through shares of the State level, we aim to contribute to the reflections on the possibilities and limits of these actions, as social injustice is a major theme for the Social Sciences and the whole society, and requires theoretical contributions that seek to overcome it.
