O objetivo deste artigo é analisar a recepção brasileira do cyberpunk, subgênero da ficção científica norte-americana. Entretanto, além de revisar resenhas e posfácios da primeira edição brasileira de duas obras cyberpunks – Piratas de Dados (1990), de Bruce Sterling, e Neuromancer (1991), de William Gibson –, analisaremos as obras brasileiras que dialogam com o gênero norte-americano.

The objective of this article is to analyze the Brazilian reception of cyberpunk, subgenre of north-American science fiction. However, further to revise lists and postfaces of the first Brazilian edition of two cyberpunks works – Piratas de Dados (1990), by Bruce Sterling, and Neuromancer (1991), by William Gibson –, we will analyze the Brazilians works that dialogue with the north-American genre.
