Este trabalho busca investigar as relações interdiscursivas existentes entre o conto“Sexta-feira da paixão”, que faz parte da coletânea Os mortos são estrangeiros (1970), doescritor norte-rio-grandense Newton Navarro, e a narrativa bíblica. Assim, discutiremos comoo conto, através de estratégias narrativas, configura na morte do assassino o mito da Paixão deCristo, ou seja, o filho flagelado da velha atua como ponto de apoio para que se tornepresente, quanto memória, o passado mítico. A morte do presente retoma a morte do passado.
This work we seek to investigate the interdiscoursive relationship between the tale “Sexta-feira da paixão”, which is part of the collection Os mortos são estrangeiros (1970), from the potiguar writer Newton Navarro and the biblical narrative. So, we discuss how the tele through the narrative strategies setup the dea th of the killer in the myth of Christ's Passion, i.e, the tortured son of the woman old per form as point of the support to turn present, while memory the mythic past.
