O objetivo deste trabalho é dar notÃcia da constituição de um valioso acervo de cartas pessoais, da famÃlia Gomes Vieira, recentemente doado ao Arquivo Histórico de Taubaté. A partir da transcrição de três cartas datadas da segunda metade do século XIX, descrevem-se algumas de suas caracterÃsticas filológicas.
The purpose of this essay is to present a valuable collection of private letters, of Gomes Vieira´s family, donated to the Arquivo Histórico Felix Guisard Filho, in Taubaté. This essay presents the semidiplomatic edition and describes some philological aspects concerning three letters of this collection of letters written in the second half of the nineteenth century.
