BANDAS DE ROCK E OUTRAS FESTAS: SOCIABILIDADE DE JOVENS EM SÃO LOURENÇO DA MATA

A presente pesquisa se debruçou sobre o Ensaio Sem Stress, evento de bandas amadoras que ocorreu em São Lourenço da Mata de 2007 a 2014. O trabalho busca responder qual a motivação dos/as jovens para frequentar o evento; para isso, analisa as formas de interação e sociabilidade entre os/as frequentadores/as da festa; buscando compreender, por um lado, as semelhanças no gosto e estilos de vida; e, por outro lado, busca entender as hierarquias, a forma como surgem e como atuam. Analisa também de que maneira os vínculos de amizade regulam a “normalidade da interação” e atenuam as disputas entre os grupos hierarquizados. Ainda para atingir esse fim de pesquisa – a motivação do público para frequentar a festa – o trabalho analisa a relevância dos conteúdos do evento – as bandas e a possibilidade de lazer na cidade – para os/as frequentadores/as. Por fim, através dos códigos de conhecimento e comunicação compartilhados, as redes de relações, como de amizade e vizinhança; os vínculos em atividades e a relação travada com os equipamentos urbanos – a praça onde ocorria o evento e os bares próximos –, será buscado mostrar como a familiaridade dispersa em diferentes pontos da cidade é levada à praça. Em relação a todos esses elementos supracitados, serão discutidas as implicações para os resultados de pesquisa da relação subjetiva do autor/pesquisador com os aspectos da vida social investigados. Metodologicamente, o trabalho se vale da observação participante e entrevistas semiestruturadas.

The present research focused on the Ensaio sem Stress (“No Stress Test” in literal traduction), an amateur bands event that occurred in São Lourenço da Mata from 2007 to 2014. The study seeks to answer the motivation of young people to attend the event; for this, it analyzes the forms of interaction and sociability among the party goers; looking for understand, on the one side, the taste and lifestyles similaritie's; and, on the other hand, seeks to understand the hierarchies, the way they arise and how they act. It also examines how friendship bonds regulate "normality of interaction" and lessen disputes between hierarchical groups. Still, in order to achieve this research goal - the motivation of the public to attend the party - the work analyzes the relevance of the contents of the event - the bands and the possibility of leisure in the city - for the regulars. Finally, through shared knowledge and communication codes, networks of relationships, such as friendship and neighborhood; the links in activities and the relationship with urban equipment - the square where the event took place and the bars nearby - will be sought to show how the dispersed familiarity in different points of the city is taken to the square. In relation to all these elements mentioned above, the implications for the research results of the subjective relation of the author / researcher to the aspects of social life investigated will be discussed. Methodologically, the work uses participant observation and semi-structured interviews.
