Esta pesquisa buscou quantificar a evasão e o tempo de titulação do curso de graduação de
Administração, da Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade, da Universidade de São Paulo,
Campus de Ribeirão Preto.
Através do levantamento de dados foi possível realizar uma análise geral da situação acadêmica dos
alunos atualmente matriculados, verificar a relação entre ingresso e egresso, levantar estimativa do número de
alunos evadidos por ano de ingresso.
A partir desta análise verificou-se uma forte tendência dos alunos ao prolongamento de curso. Realizouse também uma pesquisa de campo junto aos alunos atualmente matriculados para entender as razões desse
prolongamento.

Resumo Inglês:

This research persueded the quantification of the evasion in the graduation course of administration
from the Faculty of Economics, Business Administration and Accounting of the University of São Paulo, in
Ribeirão Preto.
Through the data collection it was possible to analyze the general academic situation of the present
enrolled students, to verify the relation between student ingress and egress and to estimate the number of the
evaded students by ingress year.
From this analysis it was verified a strong tendency to course prolongation. Therefore, a field research
was done with the present enrolled students to understand the reasons of this course prolongation.
