A pesquisa objetivou identificar se há viabilidade atuarial nos Regimes Próprios de Previdência Social da Região Metropolitana de Maceió. Foi construído um checklist a partir de dados disponíveis nos Demonstrativos de Resultados da Avaliação Atuarial – DRAA. Foram analisados quatro municípios haja vista serem os únicos a enviar as informações correspondentes aos cinco anos abrangidos por esta pesquisa (2010 a 2014), os dados foram pesquisados por meio do Site do MPS. Quanto aos resultados foi possível identificar que dentre aqueles analisados o que apresenta melhor viabilidade é o município de Maceió, que consegue ter superávit até 2057, enquanto Atalaia e Marechal Deodoro tiveram viabilidade até 2014 e Santa Luzia do Norte até 2016. É visível a fragilidade dos RPPS nos municípios pesquisados, comprovando uma má administração dos recursos neles disponíveis, comprometendo os beneficiários do plano num futuro próximo.

This research aimed to identify if there is actuarial viability in the Social Security’s Own Regimes of the metropolitan region of Maceió, Alagoas. We created a checklist based on the data available in the Actuarial Assessment Results - DRAA. Four municipalities were analyzed since they are the only ones to send information corresponding to the five years covered by this research (2010 to 2014), the data were searched through the MPS Website. As for the results, we identified that among the cities analyzed the most viable is Maceió-AL, which has a surplus up to 2057, while Atalaia and Marechal Deodoro had viability until 2014 and Santa Luzia do Norte until 2016. The fragility of RPPS in the cities surveyed is clear, proving the existence of a mismanagement of the resources available, compromising the beneficiaries of the plan in the near future.
