O trabalho que ora se lhes apresenta visa a discutir a maneira como a questão da memória surge no estudo de dois diferentes conceitos de arquivo: o postulado por Michel Foucault em A arqueologia do saber e o conceito proposto pelo crÃtico literário Roberto González EchevarrÃa em Mito y archivo. Não deixamos de considerar que os autores tratam do conceito a partir de lugares distintos e o intuito aqui não é relacionar conceitos dÃspares, mas observar de que maneira a questão do arquivo está ligada à da própria memória, o que se torna possÃvel mesmo se observarmos essa relação a partir de diferentes perspectivas.

ABSTRACT: The work now being presented aims to discuss how the question of memory arises in the study of two different concepts of archive: the postulated by Michel Foucault in The Archaeology of Knowledge and the concept proposed by the literary critic Roberto González EchevarrÃa in Myth and Archive. We still see that the authors address the concept from different sources and the intent here is not to relate different concepts, but to notice how the issue of archive is linked to memory itself, which becomes possible even if you look at this relationship from different perspectives.
