Resumo Português:

A construção da identidade sociocultural da Amazônia vem se formando ao longo da
história, especialmente após a chegada dos europeus. Muitos teóricos e pensadores
clássicos e contemporâneos buscam, num processo de construção do pensamento
social, contar essa trajetória. Por se tratar de uma área geográfica imensa e com
características singulares, faz-se necessário inserir a região Amazônica no contexto
do pensamento social brasileiro, visto que diversas regionalidades nela se
concentraram e são essenciais para formar a cultura amazônida.

Resumo Inglês:

The construction of sociocultural identity of the Amazon has been forming throughout
history, especially after the arrival of europeans. Many theorists and thinkers are
seeking both classic and contemporary, in a process of social construction of
thought, after this course. Because it is an immense region and unique features, it is
necessary to enter the Amazon region in the context of brazilian social thought, since
it focused various regional and were instrumental in forming the amazonian culture.
