As experiências vividas pelos acadêmicos em seu primeiro estágio em um ambiente hospitalar, geram sentimentos e visões diferenciadas, podendo ou não interferir na qualidade do atendimento ao paciente. O presente estudo tem como objetivo identificar a percepção do discente do curso de graduação em enfermagem em uma Instituição de Ensino Superior, sobre a interação estudante-paciente na sua fase inicial de aprendizado prático. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de campo de caráter descritivo e abordagem qualitativa, no qual participaram 45 estudantes de enfermagem do 4º Período Integral e 5º Período Noturno que iniciaram o campo prático. A pesquisa foi realizada por questionário contendo perguntas abertas, fechadas e de múltipla escolha. Participaram da pesquisa 45 alunos regularmente matriculados do 4º Período Integral e 5º Período Noturno com faixa etária de 18 e 35 anos e que já haviam realizado pelo menos um estágio clínico, onde 84% dos acadêmicos não possuíam nenhuma base acadêmica voltada à área da saúde. Ao assinalar as primeiras sensações dos acadêmicos no estágio, foram relatados sentimentos como medo, ansiedade, nervosismo, curiosidade, gratificação, bem-estar relacionados ao cuidado prestado ao paciente no ambiente hospitalar. Ao finalizar esta pesquisa se observou que o assunto deste estudo voltado para o aluno de enfermagem é o ponto de inicio para o desenvolvimento de pesquisas que ajudem a preencher as lacunas entre o aprendizado e o acadêmico no campo prático.

The experiences of the academics in their first internship in a hospital environment generate feelings and different views, which may or may not af fect the quality of patient care. This study aims to identify the perception of undergraduate course in nursing students in a higher education institution on the student - patient interaction at an early stage of practical learning. It is a descriptive field research and qualitative approach, with the participation of 45 nursing students from the 4th integral period and 5th Nightly period that started the practical field. The survey was conducted by questionnaire with open questions, closed and multiple choice. The participants were 45 students enrolled for the 4th integral period and 5th Nightly period aged 18 and 35 who had undergone at least one clinical stage, where 84% of the students did not have any academic foundation focused on health. By checking the first sensations of academics on stage, were reported feelings such as fear, anxiety, nervousness, curiosity, gratification, welfare related to the care provided to patients in the hospital. At the end of this research was noted that the subject of this study focused on the nursing student is the starting point for the development of research to help bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical field.
