O presente artigo traz uma reflexão sobre a atuação do assistente social e do psicólogo, na política de Assistência Social, mais especificamente no Centro de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (CREAS) do município de Niterói. Tem como objetivo mostrar os limites e possibilidades de atendimento neste espaço sócio ocupacional, tal como o enfrentamento pela garantia de direitos e acesso aos benefícios sócio assistenciais dos usuários, frente à pandemia do Novo Coronavírusontribuindo para reflexão sobre a atuação do assistente social e do psicólogo neste período de isolamento social. O estudo tem por metodologia a pesquisa bibliográfica e relatos decorrentes do fazer profissional nesse espaço sócio ocupacional.

This article reflects on the role of the social worker and the psychologist in the Social Assistance policy, more specifically at the Specialized Reference Center for Social Assistance (CREAS) in the city of Niterói. It aims to show the limits and possibilities of assistance in this socio-occupational space, such as coping with the guarantee of rights and access to social assistance benefits for users, in the face of the New Coronavirus pandemic, contributing to reflection on the performance of the social worker and the psychologist in this period of social isolation. The study has as methodology the bibliographic research and reports resulting from the professional doing in this socio-occupational space.
