O presente artigo traz uma análise temporal e qualitativa sobre os Direito da Criança e do Adolescente, mais especificamente o direito fundamental à convivência familiar, bem como acerca do Cadastro Nacional de Adoção (CNA). Traz uma breve narrativa histórica sobre a criação do CNA pelo Conselho Nacional de Justiça (CNA). Apresenta pontos positivos e negativos do referido cadastro. Culmina, assim, com a exposição acerca da necessária alteração do Cadastro Nacional de Adoção (CNA), especialmente como forma de implementar o direito fundamental à convivência familiar para atender crianças e adolescentes abrigados. Nesse sentido, sugere-se que o padrinho civil possa adotar, bem como sejam autorizados mecanismos alternativos para aproximação de candidatos a adotar, mesmo não cadastrados, com relação a adotandos abrigados. A metodologia é bibliográfica e documental e a pesquisa é exploratória, com propostas de aperfeiçoamento do sistema de adoção.

This paper research provides a temporal and qualitative analysis about the Rights of Childhood and Adolescence, specifically the fundamental right to family cohabitation, as well as about the National Adoption Register. It brings a brief historical narrative about the creation of the National Adoption Register by the National Council of Justice. It presents positive and negative points of the referred register. Thus, culminates with the exposition about the necessary alteration of the National Adoption Register as a way to implement the fundamental right to family cohabitation to attend sheltered children and adolescents. In this regard, the study suggested that the civil godfather may adopt, as well as alternative mechanisms are authorized to approximate candidates to adopt, even if not registered, in relation to sheltered adoptees. The methodology is bibliographical and documental and the research is exploratory, with proposals for the improvement of the adoption system.
