Este artigo trata-se de uma pesquisa empÃrica realizada durante do Estágio Curricular Supervisionado, na disciplina de Didática e Prática do Ensino de Geografia, que buscou elucidar os motivos levaram os educandos a pararem e retornarem seus estudos. Busca ainda, ressaltar a importância dos conceitos e teorias da Geografia como suporte a uma visão de mundo emancipadora na Educação de Jovens e Adultos - EJA, bem como, mostrar a forma como os estudantes chegam à escola e a compreensão que trazem sobre a disciplina, bem como as práticas nesta modalidade de ensino, observando se esta condiz com as reais aspirações destes alunos. Os resultados apontam que do total, 20% dos estudantes estão satisfeitos com a aula que recebem, em contrapartida 36% afirmaram que querem aulas práticas/campo, e 14% querem mais aulas com uso de vÃdeos, músicas e fotos, e 6% dos entrevistados querem que o professor aprofunde nos conteúdos da Geografia, ter mais aulas por semana, e o restante dos entrevistados 3% responderam ser necessário o livro didático para o EJA, mais 3% responderam que querem espaço para os alunos participarem das aulas.

This article is about a research carried through during of the Supervised Curricular Period of training in disciplines of Practical Didactics and of Teaching of Geography and elucidates which the reasons had taken the students to stop and to return their studies. Search still, to stand out the importance of Geography in the Young Education and Adult - YEA, as well as, to show the form as the students arrives at the school and the understanding that brings on disciplines, as well as practical in this modality of education, observing if this befit with the real aspirations of these students. The results point that of the total, 20% of the students are satisfied with the lesson who receive, on the other hand 36% had affirmed that they want practical lessons/field, and 14% want more lessons with use of videos, musics and photos, and 6% of the interviewed ones want that the teacher goes deep the contents of Geography, to have more lessons per week, and the remain of interviewed 3% had answered to be necessary the didactic book for the YEA, 3% had more answered that the pupils want space to participate of the lessons.
