Fatores Empresariais da Indústria Siderúrgica Brasileira: cenário recente

Resumo Português:

O cenário atual teve início no processo de privatização do setor siderúrgico após os anos 1990 onde como consequência tem-se o fortalecimento do parque industrial, a revolução tecnológica e os avanços da mecânica de precisão. Alguns indicadores demonstram este cenário positivo: aumento da capacidade instalada, índice de pessoal ocupado com a produção industrial, aumento da produtividade e participação no mercado interno e externo. Este estudo visou indicar os fatores relacionados a este novo cenário empresarial que apontam tendências para o setor siderúrgico brasileiro. Os fatores empresariais referem-se às variáveis que a empresa detém poder de decisão e podem ser controladas. Estes fatores revelam o investimento constante no complexo siderúrgico com destaque à reestruturação do setor e investimentos que visam atingir metas produtivas e de exportação, assegurando, assim, sua competitividade.

The actual state of things had its begining in the late 90's, when steel industry turned in privite hands, improving steel plants actuation through the gains of the technological revolution and advances of precision mechanics. Some indices demonstrate this positive trend: growth of the installed capability, employments rates in the industrial sector, productivity growth and participation in the internal and external market. This study aims to identifying in this new business scenario the factors that may show the trend of the Brazilian steel industry. Enterprising factors are those that business ruling are able to control; structural factors may eventually suffer limited intervention from business; and systematical factors are originated by external influences without almost any intervation power of enterprise. The enterprising factors show a continuous investment in the steel industry viewing the restructuring of the whole sector, and investments aiming to achieve production and export goals to insure continuous competition.
