avaliado.

The objective of this work was to evaluate the accumulation of the heavy metals
Cd, Pb and Cr in soil cultivation and in the plant tissue of the Tifton 85 (Cynodon
dactylon) culture fertilized with swine manure. The experiment was performed
in protected environment using a Dystrophic Red Argisoil (PVd) with sandy
texture and an Eutrophic Red Latosol (LVef ) with clay texture. The treatments
were composed by two sources of swine manure (in natura and biofertilizer), with
four doses (0, 200, 400 e 600 m³ ha-1) for each fertilizer and four replications.
Concentrations of Cd were not found in the plant tissue and in the evaluated soil.
The use of the biofertilizer provided higher accumulation for Cr in the plant tissue
when compared to the use of the manure in natura. The obtained values for Pb
in the Dystrophic Red Argisoil (PVd) and in the Eutrophic Red Latosol (LVef )
were above the value assigned by CETESB as indicator of soil quality. For the
Cr, the obtained values in the two soils were considered below the limit values
used as a reference of quality for the soil. The results demonstrate that there was
increase of the heavy metals in the plants and in the soil given the applied doses,
demonstrating that the successive applications with higher doses of swine manure
can result in environmental contamination.
