O presente artigo tem por objetivo fazer uma análise da importância da introdução do Di reito do Consumidor em todos os níveis do Siste ma Educacional Brasileiro, diante da carência, até então, de uma disciplina legal própria que ampare o consumidor, incluindo a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional. A partir da edição do Códí gode Proteção e Defesa do Consumidor, instituído por força da Constituição Federal, o consumidor passou a contar com uma tutela jurídica diferen ciada, no polo das relações de consumo, notada mente com a instalação dos Juizados Especiais Cíveis no Fórum do Imbuí,na cidade de Salvador, que passaram a oferecer maior celeridade na apli cação da prestação jurisdicional, trazendo pro funda repercussão no País, sobretudo no Estado da Bahia, em face também da criação dos Serviços de Atendimento ao Cidadão - SAC, instalados nos maiores Shopping Centers do Estado, oferecendo conforto e segurança ao cidadão.

This article aims to analyze the impor- tance of the introduction of Consumer L..aw at ali leveis of the Brazilian Educational System, front the lack, so far, of a legal discipline that supports theconsumer,includingthe law ofGuidelines and Bases for National Education.
