A presente pesquisa tem como objetivo identificar as diferenças de expectativa nos cursos de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas no Estado de Pernambuco para assim apresentar o perfil dos formandos no que se refere à expectativa sobre seu futuro e o perfil dos ingressantes sobre a escolha do curso, refletir sobre a forma em que o conhecimento é passado para auxiliar no desenvolvimento dos discentes. Respondendo dessa forma quais as diferenças de expectativas nos discentes dos cursos de Ciências Sociais Aplicadas no Estado de Pernambuco. Para tanto, foi realizada uma pesquisa de campo exploratória com os setecentos e vinte e nove discentes dos cursos de Administração, Ciências Contábeis e Economia. Justifica-se esse estudo, por levar em consideração a relevância desses cursos para o ambiente organizacional e o alto grau de evasão enfrentado pelas instituições de ensino atualmente, fundamentado na visão dos discentes sobre suas perspectivas de futuro e a expectativa na escolha do curso optado, a partir da inter-relação entre estes e os professores. Os resultados mostraram que o grau de satisfação e as expectativas iniciais estão correlacionados com o curso escolhido e com as expectativas atuais.

The present research aims to identify the differences of expectation in the courses of Applied Social Sciences in the State of Pernambuco in order to present the profile of the trainees regarding the expectation about their future and the profile of the participants on the course choice, to reflect on the form in which the knowledge is passed to aid in the development of the students. Responding in this way what the differences of expectations in the students of the courses of Applied Social Sciences in the State of Pernambuco. For that, an exploratory field research was carried out with the seven hundred and twenty-nine students of the Administration, Accounting and Economics courses. This study is justified because it takes into account the relevance of these courses to the organizational environment and the high degree of avoidance faced by educational institutions today, based on the students' view of their future perspectives and the expectation of choosing the chosen course, from the interrelationship between these and the teachers. The results showed that the degree of satisfaction and the initial expectations are correlated with the chosen course and with the current expectations.
